my latest creation is made of 2 pieces, a slip complete with fluffly tulle skirt, and a sating and cotton apron to give it that polished look. I really love this design and feel light as a bird while wearing it. So far this was the most complicated thing I have made yet, but am very very pleased with the outcome.

I love the dress, but how did you do the tulle skirt? I got really confused when I looked at the pattern thanks!!

It is confusing! It starts with the slip, just a plain mini-skirt shape, then attach about 4yds of tulle. I am not super skilled with tulle so it wasn’t as neat as I would prefer but I finally managed to get it all down in one seam, then trimmed it up and started on the apron.

I’ve never been a fan of the pattern, but seeing this… It reminds me of Edwardian fashion! But turned short…

Hi, nice job :) you should link the Sibylle pattern as not many users have made that dress!
