This was by far the most complicated pattern dress I have made so far in my life, and I love it! It had sooo many pieces and I had never worked with satin so much, yet it was an interesting experience(I somehow had enough time to finish in 2 days). I really love this pattern because of the slip underneath with the layers of tulle, whenever I put that on I instantly feel like a little girl again and want to twirl around, but put the apron on and now the dress resembles a tulip in early spring.
If you have considered taking on Sibylle for yourself, don’t put it off anymore!

Hey – Your dress looks great! Did you have a lot of trouble with the princess seams on the top of the slip?

Hello! The dress is lovely, maybe a little too flashy for me. I was planning on making this cute dress, bus was wondering if I could do without the tulle… Do you think it would work without the tulle and be a little more sober?
Obviously, I would also like to go all out and make this in green as a Tinker Bell dress :)

Honestly i feel that this is a bit too flashy for me too! I really just liked the pattern and have not had a good chance to wear it out, which kind of sucks!
I do think it would do well without tulle, but the apron skirt will need to be taken in a bit so that it wont be so poofy-without-the-poof. Also when making the slip/dress thing, you might want to make the skirt a bit longer. Mine turned out well but I am quite short so luckily nothing private is being revealed and creating embarassing moments.
This would make an adorable tink dress, and heck maybe you could add just one light layer of tulle for just a tiny bit of pizazz without the poof!

Girl, If I can’t spot you downtown Saturday night in Nashville, I’m just not trying. This is very, very nice. Nehmah (we live in Columbia, TN, just up the road a piece.)
