Burda Style For people who sew
Description
The 12/11 issue was soooo good (as well as the other issues in the past few month), I so want to make everything there… including the dog little coat.
This top is very easy to make, and after completing it I found out that the zipper is not necessary as the neck opening is wide enough.
The only modification was to add this cute little pocket.
It’s very comfortable and got lots of compliments.
The only tricky thing about this top is the armhole bottom corner, so you would have to cut through the seam allowance to a thread or two before the seam line in order to make it work. anyway, it’s illustrated in the “Sewing Course” section of that issue.
The next top I’m gonna make based on this pattern will have longer sleeves and the neck and hem band will be interfaced as instructed.

This looks so good, from the burda style version you get a bit worried about the shape but after this I have no fears and I agree with 12/11 being a good isue. I think I want to make all the tin tin inspired pieces!
