I made this jacket – top a whole ago, however I did not get the chance to wear it or photograph it.
It is a cross between a jacket and a top, with a fully open zip at the back.
It is made following pattern 109B (tweed fabric) in Burda magazine12/2011 and I used the classic British fabric.
The seams at underarms are particularly interesting however a bit tricky.
The top is gathered round the waist and has got bias tapes sleeve hems.
It goes fine with jeans, brogues and Argyle socks or try something new like the pleated skirt which I think it is an unusual alternative.
Worn with BBC “one off” pleated skirt (one of their original costumes), brown leather M&S boots and tweed and brown leather Joules bag.
tweed or check/patterned wool mix fabric.
Open end zip
