Los Angeles, Cal...
I wasn’t happy with the first dress I made from this fabric, so I decided to try again with a different pattern. Thankfully, I had just enough to finish my dress. I hacked up my TNT favorite, McCall’s 5845, to make this bodice. Unfortunately, the underbust seam meant that my fabric didn’t match up properly, and my pale pink piping doesn’t do much to disguise that fact. The skirt is just a gathered rectangle with a nice deep hem. Even though there are some mistakes in the dress, I’m glad that I was able to give this fabric another go. I also tried to at least make the inside finishing nice and neat.
Re: the title…I think the roses and colors make this dress look like one of those idealized English country-esque Little BoPeep shepherdesses, and since I don’t have any sheep, I herded my cat.
