Well i fell in love with a mellow fabric and couldn’t let it be bring by somebody else but in the same time i didn’t knew what to do with it, few days later i found an idea and came back immediately to bring it home!
Hopefully nobody has the same idea as me so it was mine.
I tried a burda pattern found on the french website but once i made a muslin with it i was like “ho it’s pretty like a floor mop” so i cut my old sheet muslin the way i liked best and once i was satisfied i could start with the real fabric. It was thick and hopefully i had enough remnants of the lining from my A line skirt but still my needle and sewing machine wasn’t really pleased but now i know i should have use a special needle for thick fabric.
Once again this project took a while to finish, because i’m so undecided so i guess it took 5 months to be able to wear it with his closure straps and buttons. I made four buttonholes but only opened two to keep the ones at my right false and sewn the buttons on. Otherwise my hem is abominable but next time i will do best i hope!
