I admired those beautiful silk tunics from Michael Kors for the longest, but they come with a serious price tag. I found this pretty ombre fabric at Wallmart for very cheap ($5 for a 5yard bolt), but the print wasn’t continous, it was in panels. The perfect fabric for a nice flowy summer tunic. It needs a camisole under it, but still very comfy on hot days, when you want to wear close to nothing. Very easy to make, two rectangular piece, curved out at the neck a little bit. I finished around the neck with rolled hem on the machine and the bottom and sides are very narrow folded hem, also machine finished. I put a seam on each side closer to the body, so it dosen’t flow all over me.
