Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Mens summer shirt with front pockets and contrasting fabric on the collar stand and button placket.
If you´re interested in details these are the good things:
- The sleeves are sewn in before the side seams are stitched (as a T shirt)
- The collar button plackets is an enlargement of the front pieces, but I cut it as a different piece to add a contrast fabric.
- I made it with short sleeves, so no cuffs to worry about.
And the ¿? things:
The yoke, back and front pieces are assembled before stitching the pockets to the front. Next time I´ll sew the pocket to the body before to avoid having to work with so much fabric.

He chose this print himself from my stash, which happens to be one of the most pricey japanese cottons I have. The man knows the stuff!
