I used the teecycle tutorial from Grosgrain’s blog for this one. I was looking for the perfect shirt. Before Christmas, I got some hand me downs from a friend and this shirt was in with them, however, it was too short. Ordinarily I would have either given it back right away or pass it along, but this one I wanted to keep. The dress was super simple, and I used a ribbon hem on the bottom. I wrapped it up and put it under the tree for Christmas.
My daughter however doesn’t like it and never wears it. I finally tried to get her to put it on today for pictures, but they turned out so bad, that I just put it on the dining room table and took a picture. I am hoping that once spring actually comes (there is a blizzard warning here today- so spring seems like a pipe dream right now!) she will take to wearing it. They can’t all be winners I guess.
upcycled t- shirt that was too small, about 1/3 m cotton print fabric, thread, 1 1/2 " grosgrain ribbon
