I made this dress based on two patterns. I used contour bust dress pattern for the the dress bodice because the pattern is already there and in my size. I made just few changes for a better fit, the same with the second pattern for straps. Both patterns are great and easy to do. I don’t have that much experience and this is the very first thing that I made by myself from start to finish. usually I reach for my mothers help, but as she is not here right now I was left all alone and it worked! :)
I finished the dress in three days and the material was easy to work with. It’ s some kind of cotton and I also put white cotton lining. That way the bodice looks better and the skirt is fuller. It was cheap project too because I had the white cotton lining in my mom’s stash and the lovely cotton fabric I bought on sale for something like 5 euros. Best project so far….
