I made Shakira but shortened it to be a tunic since my aunt doesn’t wear dresses. I know my button placement is off but I don’t think it detracts terribly; it’s my first time making a button placket after all; I should have just done the middle button last instead of listening to the pattern markings. Well, this is for her birthday; hope it fits & she likes it!

Thank you…this tells me more about the dress than the one on the skinny model.

I would never have thought of making this pattern, but yours looks amazing. The colours work really well together.

I have never seen this pattern before. After your creation, I am gonna download it for sure. Is very nice and I like your idea of making it of two contrasting colors. If you are not used to wear a dress, you can wear it with a pair of jeans beneath and a nice pair of wedges !!! I am sure you will look hip and trendy!!
