black party dress with interesting origami-ish folds down the front.
My own design using a standard bodice (which I adapted with some folded pieces) and a circle skirt with an extra band bellow that. (actually It was just meant to be the circle skirt but I miscalculated the length somewhat and it was a bit pornographic. Once I added the band though, it looked so great i realised it was meant to be!)
If I did it again I’d adapt my folded pattern to be 2 single sections instead of 6 as lining up all the sections proved difficult…

yeah that would be cool- one day I’m going to do a more lush version- now that I’ve made it once, I know what to do/ what not to do.
but for now I want to wear it out to a fan-cy par-ty!
