Description

This is my third version of Butterick 5353, this time in a late 60s inspired Alexander Henry print. Love that cat eye and huge mustache! It reminds me of one of my favorite Beatles songs, “Within You Without You.” Super trippy. : )

The dress is fully lined in white Bemberg rayon for a static-free finish.

Thanks! It took a few muslins to get the fit right, but totally worth the effort.

Thanks! I love that the contrast waistband is built right into the pattern. No worries about finding a matching belt.

All three are fabulous. Both print and solid work so well with the coloured waistbands. Love these x

And the way you used the yellow belt is fantastic! Very fresh contrast.

Thanks! Yeah, isn’t this an interesting print? It’s different but not too crazy.
