This is a great pattern for beginners – this dress is the first thing I’ve made that I can’t wait to wear! I will definitely be working more with this pattern.
Fabric and Liner: Stretchy knit – black & white leopard print with pink hearts. I used the same material and same size cuts for liner, which gave the dress a really nice fit.
Thread: Pink polyester
I used short zig-zag stitches everywhere except on the back neckline where I used short straight stitches. The short stitches prevented any bunching of my stretchy fabric.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
