Description

My old sewing machine cover had a big tear in it so I made a new one out of old table cloth. I used the old cover as a pattern. Very easy and quick to sew.

Great idea re: using an old tablecloth! I’ve been trying to find oilcloth for ages (I’m even in NYC and still can’t find it!), because I want to make a sturdy sewing machine cover such as yours. It’s so cute! :) Now I’ll just look for a tablecloth like that instead of trolling the streets for oilcloth…

WOW! You’re very creative and I love the fact that you reused something you had on hand. Keep up your bright ideas!

Wow this is great! I was just thinking about my horrible plastic machine cover and thinking how nice it would be to have a fun bright one. Great use for old fabrics too. Favouriting this one!
