Description

McCall’s 5526, 1977, a Marlo’s Corner pattern.
Made as part of Sew Weekly Sewing Circle TV Challenge.
Time: 4 hours per

I chose Chrissy Snow from Three’s Company as my inspiration. I’ve been on a seventies kick and since I’d already made the shirt and didn’t have much time/no money for new fabric I made the shorts from the same pattern with fabric left over from something else. They only take 7/8 yd which is great! Plus, my first fly-front zipper, how exciting!
Pros: Fit well, easy/fast to make, not too much fabric.
Cons: Can’t sit comfortably in them (need fabric with stretch next time), waistband instructions were strange.

Material Notes

cotton/polyester
