I am a server for two breakfast places and was bored of my black aprons. I wanted to make my own out of some interesting fabric. I found this large shirt in a free box. I was going to bring it down in size to fit as a shirt. I realized that it would be great for an apron because I would be able to use the ties. I looked at a basic design and then made my own. I also created a pen pocket to keep my pens in order.
I used it today and it worked out great. I think that I will make more to match different shirts.
salvaged material, canvas lining, extra stitching at tie
