The old trusty bag that I used to carry laundry to and from the basement finally gave up the ghost, and I needed something big, sturdy, and easy to carry, to take its place. Having seen several old-jeans-to-handbag tutorials floating around, I thought I’d use the same concept and convert a worn-out pair of my boyfriend’s jeans into a giant, slouchy bag, perfectly sized and comfy to carry, even when full of wet clothes. My favourite part is the original pockets which are still usable, and provide a perfect place to put detergent, softener and coins.

Thanks! I wanted to accentuate the rough, deconstructed look of the bag…
