Description

I used New Look 6003 to make this skirt! It was a lot of fun to make, and I’m happy with the final result. :) I was inspired by a skirt I had seen on ModCloth.

Material Notes

I originally thought that this fabric was going to be a bear to work with, but it was actually quite easy (possibly because the sequins are small). However, it was a tiny bit stretchier than I realized when making my original muslin.

    Your projects are very lovely. If you are in the states, visit Las Vegas, go to Heddys Fabric for specialty fabrics.. Heddy works closely with the theatre costumers such as Circ Soleil, Mystere and others. You will not be disappointed.

    The peplum drapes amazingly! was it tricky to sew the fabric?

      Thanks! I thought the fabric would be tricky, but it was only tricky around the waistband because of the thickness. But it wasn’t too bad!
