Description

I needed something to wear for a party with my girls. So I downloaded a pattern from burda (http://www.burdafashion.com/de/Download/Gratis-Schnitte/1333669-1413206-1740861.html) and voilà my first dress or tunic, however you want to call it :-)

    Sewing with sequins wasn’t that hard. They are really flexible, so you don’t even have to trim them in the seam. For me, the hardest part was to cut the fabric exactly, because you have to find your way through them. ;-)

    What a fabulous dress… and a great new resourse for patterns (thanks – now I have even more on my sew-wish list no sleep for me – just stitching!). Did you have to trim the sequince in the seam allowance before sewing, I know you do this with fur.

    Sequined fabric can be so difficult to sew — did you find this ? A little black dress never looks out of place.
