Description

I made my Wedding Dress! After a year of many, many muslins and lots of hiccups along the way I walked down the aisle on the happiest day of my life in a handmade dress.

It’s made from champagne silk, champagne matte sequins and two different shades of silk tulle. It’s fully lined and boned and the three-quarter circle skirt was awesome on the dance floor!

You can read along about the whole process on my blog

I also made a stop motion animation video of the process which you can watch here

Beautiful dress! I love the length and the choice of champagne instead of white or ivory for the colour, it really suits you. And congratulations on getting married.

Beautiful bride and dress! I love the video too! I also made a stop-motion video of my crocheted wedding dress (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edFt9Ug5RmY) but hadn’t thought about doing the same for my sewing projects.
