I drafted the basic knit bodice block from Metric Pattern Cutting, and then altered it into a snazzy new running singlet. The hardest part by far was attaching the binding. I bought a binder attachment for my coverstitch machine, but there’s such a high learning curve that I must’ve gone through 50 feet of test binding before I was getting good results! But now I’ve got the practice in, there’s no stopping me!
All fabrics from my stash! Ex-Prada trompe l’oeil sequin print jersey, dark turquoise “silk touch” lycra, and purple Suziplex for the binding.
