These are my self-made Espadrilles – inspired by a sailor’s uniform.
The “collar” is hand-embroidered with the title of my favourite song “Somewhere beyond the sea” (Bobby Darin). The shoes also have a crocheted shoe cap. I made them as slingbacks.
There is another maritime detail: The ship’s rail around the shoe cap is a selfmade cord with golden tubes that I upcycled from an old necklace.
