Back in November i discovered Craftsy through one of the blogs I’ve been reading. The first class I ever attended was “Design and Sew an A-Line Skirt with Deborah Moebes”. Within a weekend I designed and sewed my own A-line skirt and this class was more than useful to me, I learned so many things in such a small time. Ever since I’ve sewn 7 skirts, two of which are wearable muslin, from that pattern and have worn them constantly. This one I made about two months ago and the fabric is a navy gabardine diagonal purchased at a fabric store in central Athens.
The blouse is Burda 04/2014 #122 and is the reason I bought the magazine. I am not satisfied with how it came out though, mainly because of the collar. I didn’t understand the instructions and just did what I thought was right. Apparently what I did wasn’t correct, the collar doesn’t stand still and I have to keep it in place all the time.
If anyone has any advice please bring it to me as I would like to give it another try sometime.
