This was my first time making a skirt and I am amazed at how it turn out! I decided to make this skirt a bit more spring like, so I used a navy and white seersucker: (that also made it REALLY comfortable). I also made the lining longer than the outside of the skirt so that the lining would peak out from the bottom. I used a green and white canvas(?) for the waistband and the lining.
navy and white seersucker, green and white canvas(?), and navy invisible zipper
My friend Julie for the inspiration and encouragment

It’s very cute. I love the color, too. Good job!

I love the choice of seersucker, its really nice and super fresh with the green. It certainly does not look like it is your first time making a skirt.
