So I decided to make something to wear July 4th since I will be at work but could be patriotic. I’ve had this star-covered white chiffon stashed since I bought it and knew this Simplicty tunic pattern would be perfect for it. I made some modifications by cutting off some fabric around the armholes to make them fit a little bigger, and also took off some fabric around the neck. I then added bias tape around the armholes and neck and some red buttons for a little pop of color. Also, for my seams I did the normal 5/8" seam but then went back with my serger to prevent fraying. It’ll also be perfect since it’s been so hot and I can throw on a cami and my bike shorts under it.

I love the neckline and it’s a good idea to wear red bike shorts under. You have a great sense of style!!
