Description

I just based this off a tshirt i have and added a hood.

I absolutely love the material for this, it’s like a blue black lace pattern, you can’t really see in the pictures sorry

I don’t have an interlocker so I put a bit of seam glue onto the raw edges..it’s not perfect, but still wearable :)

Looks great, I really like it, a friend of mine actually just sewed something a lot like this recently (and she used french seams)

mmm…it’s not complicated…but i hope i can explain it in a not complicated way…………. you have to leave a larger seam allowance, and all you have to do is sew it first wrong sides together, and then turn it over, wrong sides of the fabric together and sew again, as you would normally, keeping the first seam inside the new seam….so in the end from the outside it looks normal, but on the inside, instead of seeing raw edges, you get a really clean edge…. i hope made myself clear….but if not, i’ sure there’s a tut on it somewhere…or if not i’ll make one….

i love to use french seams for see-through fabrics…it makes it all look so much cleaner and prettier
