I’m a BIG fan of eyelet lace! I made this one with structured bust and carefully folded pleats bottom skirt.
A very simple pattern so the eyelets can speak for themselves!
I used a dark coral as inner lining fro a good contrast.
I can’t resist making a rose concner to go with it!

awesome! I love eyelets as well, but haven’t gotten myself ramped up to make something with the fabric yet. Thanks for the inspiration, I’ll have to keep a contrasting underlining in mind!

i need to know how you did the top. did you use interfacing to make it stand up? I am converting to dresses into strapless dresses with sweetheart necklines and i can’t find anything to help me with what makes it stand up and not fall off of you. lol please help!!

erm.let’s see how i can try to help here..
.i think its the cut of the bust line( the darts etc) that make it cup the bust properly.
So just like the area underbust u will need the darts, the upper area of the tube also needs the same so it forms a cup shape?
I hope this helps!

I love everything you post here; so fresh and simple. I just picked up some vintage synthetic knit at a charity shop which has little see-through windows. I was thinking of making a dress with a simple nude lining, but now I am rethinking it and may use a contrast lining for drama. Thanks for the idea!
