  Dress is darling, and I’m with the one commentator who suggested some straightforward shots of the dress. I’d suggest a mannequin, with no-nonsense lighting. What other fabrics would work for this dress, btw?

    i added one picture of the dress in dress form for a better view:)

    i think you can make this dress in cotton or some kind of cotton blend. as long as there is no stretch to the fabric.

  I think the dress and photographs are beuatiful, too. However, I would have one suggestion for you. As I understand, this dress will be for sale in your shop. I would suggest you take at least one photo where the model is standing in a natural, straight-backed posture with her shoulders back and head held higher… that way, potential buyers can better see what the dress will look like on them in everyday life rather than a romantic fashion shoot. Do you understand what I mean? The postures in the photos are very lovely and haute couture, but absolutely unhelpful if I want to decide whether the dress would suit me as a client or not as I can’t see how the dress bodice will hang on the frame… I hope you take this comment in the spirit it is given, as a helpful suggestion from one crafter to another! I love your work and your pieces are always a delight to view!
