This is my second take on the Elisalex pattern. The fabric is some rather heavy cotton I found in my late mother’s in law stash- probably for upholstery use. I like its vibrant colours and vintage feeling. I altered the pattern by raising the back. I love this pattern! The bodice fits perfectly! The dress is fully lined with cotton voile. I put an exposed zipper and I finished the hem with bias binding because I did’nt want to lose any length. This dress has now become one of my favorite me-mades!
