Inspired by my Grandmother’s seamstress skills that have been passed down onto me… Seamstress Artifacts incorporates how my grandmother molded the path that I’ve taken for a career choice and by the amazing work of Christian Doir during the 1940’s into 50’s…Collection is comprised by full skirts, dresses, separated and elaborately lined jackets embellished with sparkly rhinestone buttons..

    I love the jacket too, so feminine, I really like how the neckline comes down tot e bodice, the gathering is beautiful, I’d love to know if you used a pattern too :)

      Designed and drafted out the patterns from scratch, then a muslin was constructed before what you see if finished; those are the requirements in Fashion Design courses…

    I really like he grey jacket and I wondered, if you used a pattern for this or if you could tell me, how you made he bustpart? I also like the jacket with the dress under it. Is it just a siple dress with short sleeves? I also like the other dress. Greate Job

      The jacket was primarily draped on a dressform to get a pattern produced… All authetic pieces inspired by Christian Doir..
