This was made in July for my brother’s wedding reception, but then I got so busy with my own wedding preparations that I didn’t have time to take a picture in this dress hehe. I picked out this seafoam colour from our local fabric store, and modified the Danielle pattern so that it had a V-neck at the front and also a deep V in the back (I’m a sucker for V backs). There is also a folded accordion style embellishment on one side of the sleeve (not sure what’s the exact name for it).
For those who have requested, I’ve put up instructions on how to do the accordion/pleated embellishment. I’m not an expert in sewing, but I hope the instructions make sense and works for you as well too. Have fun and do share your projects if you use the technique in them!

Lovely colour, lovely styling and the detail on the shoulder is gorgeous. Are you able to give any instructions for the ‘folding’?
