Made this pleated skirt for my friend’s consideration for bridesmaids’ skirts… hope the bride will like it! Otherwise, it’s ok, I’ve got one more skirt to add to my closet then hehehe… This was made of leftover material from my other seafoam dress AND short pop skirt (can you tell I bought too much of this material? LOL)
Initially I thought of dyeing it into a dark navy blue, but looking at the pictures I’m feeling hmm maybe leaving it in its original colour ain’t a bad idea after all…. what do you think?

Hi Libby! Thank you! It’s cotton satin, medium-weight with a moderate sheen. Actually found it in the upholstery section :D

Hahaha Vanessa your first line made me laugh! Thank you for the encouragement, I’ll keep the colour as it is :D
I didn’t make the blouse, bought it at Bangkok when I was on holiday. I call it the cabbage blouse, but I do love it. To be honest, when inspected closely, the garment is not very well made, but I must say it’s a very good pattern. Believe it or not it only cost RM15 at most, which is below USD5.

Love the color…it reminds me of the Tiffany blue. Love how you pair it with the white top. Yea, if it doesn’t make it to the bridal party, you will have a lovely and pretty skirt adding to your wardrop. :)

The skirt is super cute and I happen to adore the colour, especially against your lovely skin tone – very crisp. I also love your blouse!
