This dress kind of goes with the Butterfly Embroidery Dress which has the story has to why these dresses are being made, so I’ll spare the story.
My friend A and I actually collaborated on this garment. You see, these were originally due May 23rd, and it needed to be done that night, so she gave it to me, so I was started off at someone else’s save point. My part in this dress is the lining fabric, sewing on the sleeves, attaching and under-stitching lining, attaching the bodice to skirt, inserting the zipper, hand tacking the bodice lining to the zipper and waist seam, and adding the hook and eye.
This dress is for the middle child and a Butterick pattern was used.
satin, sequin fabric, lining, invisible zipper, hook and eye
