You can do this technique to many basic patterns. I used a vintage raglan sleeved pattern and added extra rectangles on the sides. Then tappered in acordingly. (You could use BURDA 7602 it doesn’t have raglan sleeves but will also be good)
For the stand up collar just shaped the neckline and used a folded straight strip of fabric.
If you use a stiff fabric like taffata, neoprene or brocade it’s more sculptural in soft fabrics it falls as drapes.
Works well when you add extra rectangles onto coat pattern side seams, you get big bucket pockets.
