So I needed a bag and when I saw the ugly high priced thing they sold here, I just knew I will have to make my own. The Maya Bag was just what I was looking for and I didn’t even need to go out to buy fabric ‘cause I had enough left overs from another project to make it whit. I didn’t really wanted anything fancy, thus the fabric choice. I made 5cm x 5cm squares for the front and back parts and sew them in a checker pattern. The handle part took 8cmx8cm squares. I also made it with lining.
Only modification : I made the handle part a little longer (1m) ’cause I like to wear this kind of things crossed and I also made it wider.
Tropical mecánico - Have no idea what's the English name for it - for the outside part. Satin for the lining.
