Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Change our current door stopper from a cardboard box to something more visually agreeable. I used the front and reverse sides of a old jean for the body of the turtle. That way I added more colour to the turtle and it’s a sturdier fabric. I filled the whole thing with sand, but I think that maybe any other sort of filling for the head, legs and tail would work to. Not sure if the blog said so or not, but the legs have to be sewn on different from the head and tail. You need the head and tail to stand up so when you stitch them closed you have to do it making the side seams be in the middle.
