I got a new sewing machine for Christmas and a free motion foot – this was my first project.
Each leaf is different… I think you can tell the order I did them by the level of wiggle in the squiggles!
I haven’t got a picture of the back on my computer, but it has 3 beautiful button holes… sewn entirely by my new sewing machine! I don’t think I even had to hold the fabric!! What a change to my 1970’s beast!
Appologies for the poor quality picture – taken on an iphone
Linen for the background and the rest are cotton scraps
