What a great fabric choice! I want to make one using brown check, maybe add some extra ruffles around the diamond. I love how the check pattern works so well! Well done!

You have done a neat job of gathering to the diamond center. The panel is flat without pulling, and the skirt falls smoothly to the hemline. It will, of course, look great on a human. The best dressmaker’s form just does not have the smoothness of a person. Cordially, Nehmah
