I actually made this about two years ago out of the remnants of my Esther cardigan. I made the biggest size I could get out of my left-overs and have been waiting for my daughter to grow into it since then.
I started with my vintage Stretch & Sew #919 pattern, cut the front in two pieces so I could add a zip and drafted the scarf collar myself. She should get some good wear out of it this winter, and maybe next since the sleeves are still very long on her.
