My daughter and I liked the bubble dress so much that I made another one. I thought it would be a good style to execute my first ever hand embroidery project. I had bought myself a lovely book, ‘Scandinavian Needlecraft’ by Clare Youngs and was itching to embroider something.
After a quick thought, yes I was in haste, I chose my template and began working.
A small note about the bubble dress, if you look carefully you will notice that it’s got this lovely pockets with flap cover near the sides of the dress. Very nifty little thing, cause my daughter delights in having pockets.
Will post pictures of my daughter wearing her dress soon!
cotton fabrics for dress and lining, button, embroidery needle, embroidery threads, soft muslin for backing and you're set!
