Description

Beige silk button down with fabric covered buttons and floral peter pan collar, as well as scalloped hems on the sleeve and at front opening.

After making this shirt I truly never wanted to do tiny scalloping ever again. Despite that inclination, I brilliantly chose to add the item to my Etsy shop, and lo and behold a few sold. Goodbye to my sanity, and hello to more of those tiny little scallops. Oops.

Material Notes

I had the buttons covered for me by BANGUPBUTTONS (www.etsy.com/shop/BangUpButtons). They did a great job and I highly recommend their shop! The beige silk was from B&J Fabric, and the floral silk was from the infamous Mood, both in NYC’s garment district. B&J is great for browsing, but it’s a bit pricey. Some of the prettiest fabrics around if you’ve got the dough, though!
