Description

I am a huge fan of Casey’s blog Elegant Musings and saw this tutorial http://blog.caseybrowndesigns.com/2011/05/30s-scalloped-collar-tutorial-pt-1/ for a 1930’s scalloped collar some time ago but did not feel confident in giving it a shot until recently.

Whilst my skills are no where near that of Casey I am very happy with the result. The scallops were relatively easy and I just reminded myself to take them slowly so they would be fairly neat.

I used Sewaholic’s Pendrell blouse pattern (my fifth blouse) because its so easy.

The fabric is a mustard floral cotton with a cream cotton inset for the collar.

Cute indeed. The fabric reminds me of the traditional fabrics they have in Provence in southern France.
