This is a combo I sewed two weeks ago for a night out with friends from school who came to Berlin to go dancing. I wanted something more or less dressy but still comfortable. The shirt was inspired by one I saw on Asos.com, I basically refashioned a simple white T into a little cardi/blouse-thing. Then I made the skirt to accompany the top, no pattern required, it’s just a rectangle sewn together at the short sides with an elastic waistband and as a twist a scallop at the hem.
I posted tutorials for both items on my blog here:
embroidered cotton, lace, dye, vintage buttons, white t-shirt, elastic
