Description

My first project isn’t a sewing project! It’s a repair project! I found this Kenmore Model 48 and Cabinet for $20 bucks at a thrift store. I just couldn’t pass that up. I knew the motor worked and the wiring looked good. The machine was a slightly sticky yellow mess. It did not have the cams or any other accessories, but I don’t care much for decorative stitches. So why not take this guy home and see what happens?

I posted my ramblings about my progress with the machine on my Tumblr account for all of you here at Burdastyle.
