redmage, i used a layer of inner lining where i gathered the lining together with the skirt, which resulted in puffier skirt. or you can try to use tulle inside the skirt, that should do the job. :) i can remember the ratio though but should be about 2X the waist.

i really love these skirts! did you use 2x your waist measurement or 1.5x?? I’ve tried to make one of these with satin before and I used like 3x and the gathering was just IMPOSSIBLE, and yours came out amazing!

i loooove these, especially the black one. makes an ultra-short skirt look classy and cute rather than just too short! i’m short myself so i love short skirts!
