Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Long evening dress, with beaded embroidery on sash, and a luscious godet in the back. I hand-sewn sooo many beads on the sash and on the chocker;) I hope to wear it some day, at a ball or at least at a wedding…
The shawl has an edge(aprox. 1.2m) embroidered in the same way, with sand beads, tube beads… It stays on my shoulders by itself(the heavy beads, kip it into place)

Beautiful! I especially like the colour combination and the beading. I think the world should add more occasions to wear formal evening dresses…. :-) (maybe calls for some action, hm).

Very beautifully made. But what really did it for me was the fabric/color choice, that specific color in satin makes dresses look so fluid and great.

I enjoy working with heavy satin. It gives the clothing a different feel and look. You have patients of an angel to add all the bead work. Your dress came out beautiful.
