I found a wonderful Japanese sewing book (isbn 9784471400682) that gives instructions on how to create the patterns yourself. I don’t know the title of this book because everything is in Japanese, and unfortunately, I don’t read Japanese! All the designs are pretty architectural and not form-fitting, so I didn’t have to worry about sizing.
I used a black cotton gauze fabric. So very light and comfortable to wear!
Here’s a great resource if you’re interested in using Japanese sewing books:
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
