This is a dress I made for my hols out of a sarong I’ve had for ages and have never used.
I loved the pattern so decided that it HAD to be made into something rather than binned.
Dead easy to make and I was very happy with the result.
I lined the skirt part as the sarong was pretty see-through. I used the left over part of the sheet used for making Jessica’s christening robe for that.
It was so easy to make as I used the fancy edging to the sarong as the hem and the top was already hemmed too! I used elastic on the bobbin for the shirring and added the lining in the last two rows.
