This is the 3rd dress I’ve made from an Indian Sari – I get these saris from the local flea market for about R10 – just over a dollar! I love scrounging through the enormous pile of colour to find treasures like this one with the most beautiful prints on them. I lined the dress with green ponji lining as the fabric is thin and delicate, I haven’t had much time to sew lately but quickly finished the hem the other day and wore it for my daughters 2nd birthday party.
